Your exciting holiday with Airelated Travel to Myanmar begins with a pleasant flight to Yangon. Welcome by tour guide and transfer to the hotel. Start to visit Yangon City Center surrounded by various colonial-style buildings of World War II, City Hall & Independent Monument for photoshoots & witness the daily life of local people. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit Kandawgyi Nature Park - a scenic park with a lovely view of famous Kandawgyi Lake & Karaweik Royal Barge for photo opportunities. Early evening visit Shwedagon Pagoda - over 2500 years old & the world-famous stupa in the dome shape rises 98 meters above its base and covered with 60 tons of pure gold.
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Kyaikhtiyo - the largest domestic tourism center located about 168 km from Yangon to visit the miracle pagoda named Golden Rock Pagoda - enshrine a hair relic of Buddha. It is set on a top of gold gilded boulder which in turn is balanced on the edge of the cliff. The Kyaikhtiyo Mountain range is over 1100 km above sea level. There are many legends about the pagoda and Nats (Spirit Gods)shrines along the 11 km uphill. Coaches reach only at Kinpun base camp & proceed to Yathe Taung base camp climbed by local open trucks (no roof, non-aircon), which is located on the halfway and about 45-minute drive from Kinpun base camp and only 2km uphill trek to the summit. Devotees believe that a pilgrimage to this pagoda brings them good health & wealth.
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Bago – an ancient Capital of Mon Kingdom - 80km North East of Yangon.Sightseeing Bago. Tour highlights include the Kyatkatwine Teaching Monastery where can see the thousands of student monks having their lunch or studying under the ways of Buddha Guidance; Chinese Temple; Bago Market. Drive back to Yangon, passing through the rural small villages & paddy fields. On the way visit to Htaukkyant World War II cemetery where buried the 27,000 allied soldiers who had perished during the Second World War. Then visit Myanmar's famous precious Gems, Jade & Jewellery Workshop.
After breakfast at hotel, visit to Nan Thida(The Strand) jetty where can observe the Yangon River life that offers a remarkable atmosphere with spectacular colors. Mahapasana Cave - where the sixth Buddhist synod took place; Kandawgyi Nature Park - a scenic park with a lovely view of famous Kandawgyi Lake& Karaweik Royal Barge for photo opportunities. After lunch at local restaurant, visit to Bogyoke Market used to be called Scott Market - the largest market in Yangon with time to browse among the hundreds of stalls for souvenir bargains. Evening take a walk to Chinatown where can see the many vendors on the platform & can buy the variety of Myanmar products & tropical fruits
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to Yangon International airport for departure. Home sweet home.
